Committee on Ways and Means
1102 Longworth House Office
Washington, DC  20515

Dear Intern Applicant,

Thank you for inquiring with the House Ways and Means Committee regarding an intern position.  An internship at the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee offers a unique working environment, which is both educational and professional.  Based on the political interests of our interns, they may be placed in the full committee, our Press Office, or one of our six sub-committees: Social Security, Trade, Human Resources, Health, Oversight, and Select Revenue Measures.

Attached, you will find a copy of our "Intern Program Facts and Information" sheet.  In order to obtain an application, please e-mail:

Ways and Means Committee Intern Program Coordinator
InternCoordinator.WaysandMeans@mail.house.gov.  The Committee is currently still accepting Winter/Spring applications.

Again, thank you for your interest in an internship with the Committee.  Should you have any questions about the program, the selection process or the application, please do not hesitate to contact the Committee at (202) 225-3625.

Best regards,

Bill Thomas
Chairman
