Postponement of Committee Hearing on the Impact on Financial Services of
Replacing the Federal Income Tax
Wednesday, May 21, 1997

Congressman Bill Archer, (R-TX), Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means, today announced that the Committee hearing on the impact on financial intermediaries and financial products of replacing the Federal income tax, previously scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, 1997, at 10:00 a.m., in the main Committee hearing room, 1100 Longworth House Office Building, has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
