Congressman Bill Archer (R-TX), Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means, today announced that on Wednesday, February 16, 2000, the Committee approved the Views and Estimates Letter on the fiscal year 2001 Federal budget, by voice vote.
The Views and Estimates letter was required under clause 4(f)(2) of Rule X of the Rules of the House, and was ordered to be forwarded to the Committee on the Budget.
