Congressman Amo Houghton (R-NY), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight of the Committee on Ways and Means, today announced that the Subcommittee hearing on Internal Revenue Service (IRS) performance under Commissioner Rossotti and the future needs of the IRS, previously scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., in the main Committee hearing room, 1100 Longworth House Office Building, has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
