Committee to Markup Trade Measures

WASHINGTON – Tomorrow, Chairman Bill Thomas (R-CA) and the Ways and Means Committee will markup the following trade measures at 1:45 p.m. in 1100 Longworth House Office Building:

1) H. J. Res. 50, a joint resolution disapproving the extension of the waiver authority contained in section 402(c) of the Trade Act of 1974 with respect to the People's Republic of China;

2) H. J. Res. 55, a joint resolution disapproving the extension of the waiver authority contained in section 402(c) of the Trade Act of 1974 with respect to Vietnam; and

3) H.R. 1954 - "Iran-Libya Sanctions Act of 2001."
