TAX REBATES LAUNCHED TOMORROW
IN KANSAS CITY; CHAIRMAN TO PARTICIPATE
Ways and Means Chairman Bill Thomas (R-California) joins
Vice President Dick Cheney, Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill
and a host of other luminaries at the launch of the tax rebate
distribution tomorrow morning in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Vice President will address employees at the Kansas City
Financial Management Service, part of the Treasury Department,
which is one of the facilities that will print and distribute
the tax refund checks. The visit will include a tour the
facility.
