Congress Pursues Added Protections for Taxpayers

WASHINGTON -- Tax filing season is underway, and legislators are pursuing ways to provide additional protections for taxpayers.

To that end, the Ways and Means Committee will this week consider the "Taxpayer Protection and IRS Accountability Act of 2002."
