  • Senate Amendment No. 46 -- Grassley, Baucus, Bunning, Bingaman, Conrad, Daschle, Lincoln, Snow Amendment #46 - Title VI, Section 645 of the engrossed Senate amendment on certain expenses of rural letter carriers.
  • Senate En Bloc Amendment Adopted in Conference, which contained the following amendments with some modification:
    • Senate Amendment No. 116 -- Nickles #12 - Title IV, Subtitle F, Part III, Section 473 of the engrossed Senate amendment on the expansion of limitation of depreciation of certain passenger automobiles.
    • Senate Amendment No. 166 -- Sen. Thomas #5 - Title VI, Subtitle E, Section 644 of the engrossed Senate amendment on the exclusion for payments to individuals under the National Health Service Corps loan repayment program and certain State loan repayment program.
    • Senate Amendment No. 163 -- Sen. Thomas #2 - (only part one of the amendment) - Title III, Subtitle A, Section 301 of the engrossed Senate amendment on the expansion of Qualified Small-Issue Bond Program, which would permit increasing the cap to qualify for Industrial Development Bonds (modified to be effective after 2009).
    • Senate Amendment No.69 -- Baucus #21 for Conrad and Bingaman (to expire after 2 years) - Section 856 of the engrossed Senate amendment on the treatment of certain income of cooperatives, conforming to Section 1329 of the conference report to accompany H.R. 6, the “Energy Policy Act of 2004”
    • Senate Amendment No. 165 -- Sen. Thomas #4 - Add Title VIII of the engrossed Senate amendment, modified to reflect the language in the conference report to accompany H.R. 6, the "Energy Policy Act of 2004" Section 1341 on Oil and Gas from Marginal Wells.
  • Nickles Amendment to Strike Section 710 of the Chairman's Mark (Blue Ribbon Commission on Comprehensive Tax Reform).
