November 30, 2012 — Press Releases

Washington, DC – Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) issued the following statement today congratulating and welcoming the new Republican Members of the Ways and Means Committee:

“The Members joining our Committee will bring valuable experience, expertise and energy to the Committee – all of which are welcome as the Committee continues its mission of creating the best possible climate for economic growth and job creation.  The fiscal challenges facing America are significant, and the addition of these four members compliments the tremendous skills and knowledge of our existing Members working to solve these problems.  I look forward to working with the entire Ways and Means Committee to meet those challenges and advance the policies needed to get our economy back on track, reduce out-of-control federal spending and strengthen our entitlement programs for future generations.”

The new Republican Members on the Ways and Means Committee, in alphabetical order are:
