House Committee on Ways and Means Internship Program

We are now accepting Summer 2024 Internship Applications.

Thank you for your interest in the Majority Staff of the House Committee on Ways and Means internship program. We are currently seeking reliable and professional individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

The Committee on Ways and Means is responsible for tax, health, trade, social security, welfare, and other important policy issues. An internship with Ways and Means provides interns the unique opportunity to learn about the legislative process and experience, first-hand, the operations of this crucial Congressional Committee.

As an intern with the Committee on Ways and Means, you will assist staff in research assignments within the Committee’s jurisdiction, prepare for hearings, assist with administrative support, and take on special projects.

Full and part-time positions are available throughout the year. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Internships during the school year last a full semester.

Please complete and return the application, along with your resume, to the email address listed below.

Applications are due by March 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET.

The Summer 2024 internship program begins on Monday, May 6, 2024. *

Please submit this application and resume as one PDF package to WAMRApplications@mail.house.gov.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply to the subcommittee which best reflects their policy interests. Those interested in interning for the Minority (Democrat) Staff can find their internship information on their website.
