H.R. 2581: The Preservation of Access for Seniors in Medicare Advantage Act of 2015.

The Preservation of Access for Seniors in Medicare Advantage Act of 2015, introduced by the chairman of the Ways and Means Health Subcommittee Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX), would create a three year demonstration program for Medicare Advantage plans intended to reduce or eliminate copays, coinsurance, or both on certain medications for treatment of chronic conditions. It would also require the completion of an independent analysis of the demonstration program, change the payment structure for infusion and biologic drug treatments, and increase the opportunities for beneficiaries to alter their plan choice.
