H.R. 647: Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act

On December 3, the House passed H.R. 647, the ​Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act of 2014, by a vote of 404 to 17. The ABLE Act (H.R. 647) is designed to help more individuals with disabilities work, save, and live independently without losing access to Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
