Chairman Thompson and Chairman Pascrell Announce Joint Hearing on Minding the Tax Gap: Improving Tax Administration for the 21st Century
House Ways and Means Select Revenue Measures Subcommittee Chairman Mike Thompson and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Bill Pascrell, Jr. announced today that the Subcommittees will hold a joint hearing on “Minding the Tax Gap: Improving Tax Administration for the 21st Century” on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 12:00 PM EDT.
This hearing will take place remotely via Cisco WebEx video conferencing. Members of the public may view the hearing via live webcast available at www.waysandmeans.house.gov. The webcast will not be available until the hearing starts.
In view of the limited time available to hear witnesses, oral testimony at this hearing will be from invited witnesses only. However, any individual or organization not scheduled for an oral appearance may submit a written statement for consideration by the Committee and for inclusion in the printed record of the hearing.
