March 31, 2016 — Hearing

WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Ways and Means Tax Policy Subcommittee Chairman Charles Boustany (R-LA) today announced that the Subcommittee will continue its series of hearings entitled “Fundamental Tax Reform Proposals.” The hearing will take place on Wednesday, April 13th at 3:30 PM in room 1100 of the Longworth House Office Building and will focus on legislative proposals to reform our current income tax system.

Upon announcing the hearing, Chairman Boustany said:

“Our recent hearing kicked off an important and timely conversation about how to fundamentally rebuild our tax code for the 21st century. Our next hearing will continue that discussion as we consider proposals to reform our complex, unfair, and outdated tax code. I’m looking forward to hearing bold solutions from our colleagues and building consensus for the path forward.”
