Washington, DC – Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) issued the following statement in response to the announcement that fellow Committee member Rep. Geoff Davis (R-KY) will retire effective immediately.
 
“Geoff has been a true leader on the Committee, helping to advance welfare and unemployment reforms that help Americans get back to work.  As much as he will be missed in the Committee between now and the end of the year, I fully support and respect Geoff’s decision to take care of what matters most – family.  I wish him and his wife Pat, and their entire family, all the best.”
