Washington, D.C. – The top Republican on the Ways and Means Committee Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) today released the following statement after President Trump signed into law the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA):

“This is a great day for America, and the President has lived up to his promise to modernize NAFTA so all Americans can benefit. With today’s action by our President, the United States has now completely implemented this pro-growth agreement. I call on Canada and Mexico to immediately and thoroughly implement the agreement so that it can enter into force quickly and Americans can begin to enjoy the benefits. Congress will be watching Canada and Mexico closely and will be consulting with the Administration throughout this next phase.”
