WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) released the following statement regarding Democratic Staff Director and Chief Counsel Janice Mays’ decision to retire soon from the Committee staff.
“Janice Mays is an institution at the Ways and Means Committee. During her over 40 years of service, she has been intimately involved in landmark tax, trade, health, social security, and welfare laws.
