Washington, D.C. – Today, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) announced a change to his senior staff team for the Committee, naming Rob Damschen as Communications Director.
Upon making this announcement, Chairman Brady said:
“Rob is a respected professional who brings a high level of communications expertise to an experienced senior team. His leadership of our communications team is an asset as the Committee continues to enact policies that keep our growing economy moving forward.”
Damschen most recently served as Press Secretary for the Ways and Means Committee. Prior to that he was the Communications Director for Ways and Means Committee Member Rep. Kenny Marchant (R-TX). He has also worked in the private sector as Director of Special Projects for Wise Public Affairs. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University, Stanislaus where he was a two-time NCAA All-American selection in Men’s Golf.
