Brady Lauds New Funding for Health Providers on Front Lines

April 22, 2020 — Coronavirus Bulletin    — Press Releases

The Woodlands, TX — House Ways and Means Republican Leader Kevin Brady (R-TX) lauded the Wednesday announcement by the Trump Administration to disburse the second round of provider payments authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act:

“By entering the second phase of distributing $100 billion in CARES funding, President Trump and his Administration are quickly getting more support to health care providers. Rural hospitals, children’s hospitals, nursing homes, those who serve patients covered by Medicare Advantage, those in ‘hot spots,’ those serving the uninsured — are getting the resources they need to keep fighting the coronavirus. I look forward to continuing to work with those on the front lines as well as the Administration to lock down COVID-19.”
