Brady: This Bill Tackles Our Immediate Priorities

April 23, 2020 — Coronavirus Bulletin    — Press Releases

Washington, D.C. – The top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee Kevin Brady (R-TX) released the following statement after the House passed the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act, sending the relief package to the President’s desk:

“This bill replenishes crucial help for Main Street businesses and local health care providers while devoting more resources to producing more tests and distributing them more quickly. Those are our immediate, urgent priorities. It’s now time to work with President Trump on a plan forward: one that crushes the virus and creates a path toward prosperity for our workers and local businesses.”
