#TaxReformTuesday: Chairman Brady Discusses Benefits of Pro-Growth Policies on CNBC

In this week’s #TaxReformTuesday, Ways and Means Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) joined Kelly Evans on CNBC’s “Closing Bell” to discuss how our tax reform Blueprint grows jobs, businesses, and the U.S. economy.

As Chairman Brady explained, under our plan:

“For the first time ever, foreign products and ‘Made in America’ products are taxed equally in the United States. Secondly, you have much lower tax rates … You have a simplified tax code, so companies can’t really game the system by moving their profits overseas, their manufacturing, or their patents overseas. And I think maybe the most important is that—we eliminate any tax incentives to move jobs or manufacturing overseas. In fact, just the opposite. You create sort of a giant sucking sound toward America on jobs and plants. We think, frankly, that’s the tax code America needs for the 21st century.”
