Last week, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) – joined by Ways and Means Members Peter Roskam (R-IL), David Schweikert (R-AZ), and Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) – spoke about pro-growth tax reform at the Reagan Ranch.

On that day – 31 years ago – a conference committee of 10 Members of Congress – five tax-writers from the House and five from the Senate – reached agreement on the most sweeping overhaul of the U.S. tax code in American history. That bill was ultimately signed into law by President Reagan.

Members visited this historic location on a historic day to deliver the message that they are committed to passing pro-growth tax reform that improves the lives of all Americans.
