Chairman Ryan to Deliver Address on America’s Trade Agenda

WASHINGTON — In his first major policy address since assuming the top spot at the House Ways and Means Committee, Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI) will speak at the Washington International Trade Association (WITA) about the committee’s trade policy agenda for the 114th Congress. In his remarks, he will make the case for how trade improves America’s economy, national security, and standing in the world, and chart the course ahead to expand American exports and help create good jobs. The event will take place on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 10:45 a.m. at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center – Pavilion, located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C.

Members of the press may register as a non-WITA member and use the event code “PRESS” to waive the entry fee. Press walk-ins are welcome, but seating is limited.
