At a recent Tax Policy Subcommittee Hearing Chairman Charles Boustany (R-LA) asked witnesses to lay out their visions for pro-growth tax reform that will create a more competitive America. Watch below to hear their perspectives:

 Dr. J.D. Foster from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce said:

“We don’t want to pick winners or losers. We’re not going to do it through the tax code.”

Dr. Douglas Holtz-Eakin, President of the American Action Forum, shared his perspective:

“We have to stop playing defense.”

Another perspective came from Scott Hodge, President of the Tax Foundation:

“Either we define our tax base or the Europeans will.”
