As Rep. Black said:
“I want to talk to you about what we’re doing in our Ways and Means Committee to accomplish tax reform. My former colleague once said that the tax code is 10 times the size of the Bible, with no good news.
“And you know what else, this is Women’s History Month. And women also care about tax reform because they do that in their own households.
“So here’s what we’re going to do: we’re going to create a system that is fairer, flatter, and simpler. One where you can fill out your taxes on a single sheet of paper. We have a better way for you and your family.”
