Washington, D.C. – House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam (R-IL) today announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on “The Implementation of MACRA’s Physician Payment Policies.” MACRA is the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015. This hearing will take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in 1100 Longworth House Office Building at 2:00PM.

Upon announcing the hearing, Chairman Roskam said:

“With the passage of MACRA in 2015, Congress reaffirmed its strong commitment to protect and improve Medicare for America’s seniors. We now have the opportunity, in a bipartisan manner, to make sure there is clarity and certainty for Medicare doctors while improving care for the beneficiaries they serve. I look forward to hearing from the Administration and to a fruitful bipartisan conversation around MACRA and its implementation.”
