WASHINGTON – The top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee Kevin Brady (R-TX) released the following statement after President Trump signed two executive orders aimed at protecting patients with pre-existing conditions and putting an end to surprise medical bills:
“President Trump’s latest action demonstrates Republicans’ longstanding commitment to protecting patients with pre-existing conditions and ending surprise billing. Congress should continue to work with the Administration to make progress toward creating a health-care system that is truly patient focused.”
