Interview excerpt:

During the interview, Chairman Smith highlighted the importance of extending the Trump Tax Cuts in 2025 in order to prevent a massive tax hike the Biden-Harris Administration has promised to level on all Americans,That will be a tax increase on every hard-working American in the country. The child tax credit for one, Maria, would be slashed in half from $2,000 to $1,000. If Vice President Harris has her way, the standard deduction, which 91% of Americans use to file their taxes, will be slashed in half.”

Interview excerpt:

Chairman Smith also expressed his concern with the outsized control large tech companies have over the flow of information in the United States and stressed the need for Congress to take action to counter this censorship, “It’s a disgrace that these liberal elites that control Google, Facebook, that they clearly use their power and influence to [control] what Americans actually see and what they don’t see… They only want the American people to get the information that will be beneficial to the Liberals staying in power. Anything that could be supportive of President Trump, or allow empathy for President Trump, such as the attempted assassination of President Trump, they’re going to hide that. And they have proven that just with Google, and also Facebook’s approach. Congress needs to wake up and make sure these huge global elitists aren’t able to control the information that Americans receive.”
