“Today, March for Life Action welcomes the House of Representatives’ passage of a strong pro-family reconciliation package that supports mothers and their children, and stops spending taxpayer dollars to subsidize Big Abortion.
As this bill advances to the Senate, we express our sincere thanks to President Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, and other House leaders, for their bold pro-life leadership. Their commitment and common-sense negotiations ensured critical resources will be used to benefit American families instead of padding the pockets of the deadly Big Abortion industry.
We urge the Senate to act swiftly and pass this legislation to empower mothers, protect unborn children, and improve the lives of families across the country.” – Jennie Bradley Lichter, President, March for Life Action
Live Action
“Planned Parenthood is committing unconscionable abuse, killing over 400,000 preborn children each year, and now pushing potentially sterilizing trans drugs on vulnerable minors, all while receiving almost $800 million in federal funding. No organization that profits from the destruction and mutilation of children should receive a single cent of taxpayer money.
Today, Planned Parenthood is the second leading provider of transgender hormones in the nation. Live Action’s latest undercover report has revealed a horrific reality: Planned Parenthood facilities across the country are prescribing life-altering cross-sex hormones to minors as young as 16 years old, without requiring therapy, a mental health evaluation, or prior documentation. Known to cause sterilization, stunted growth, and irreversible physical and psychological harm, these experimental drugs are even being dispensed virtually, often on the same day an appointment is requested.
I applaud Speaker Johnson and the House for passing this critical bill. Now the Senate must act immediately to defund Planned Parenthood. Anything less is complicity.” – Lila Rose, Founder & President, Live Action
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America
“Today Congress took a big step toward stopping forced taxpayer funding of the Big Abortion industry. This is a crucial win in the fight against America’s #1 cause of death – abortion – and against waste and corruption,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “While House Democrats lied and fearmongered throughout this process, the truth is women have real choices for their health care, with community health centers that offer far more comprehensive care outnumbering Planned Parenthood facilities 15:1 nationwide. Medicaid will be stronger for those who need it most. There is no excuse for forcing taxpayers to prop up a scandal-ridden industry that prioritizes abortions, gender transitions and partisan political activism instead of prenatal care, cancer screening and other legitimate health services that are in continual decline.
We commend Speaker Johnson and House Republicans for standing strong to get the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed. We now urge the Senate to do its part, and both chambers to come together and get it across the finish line. More than 400,000 babies a year, their mothers, and countless American taxpayers are depending on you.” – Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America

ATC staffing shortages and antiquated equipment, such as copper wires, floppy disks and paper strips, have been a serious concern for years—we are past time to make meaningful change and ensure that the United States has a world-class aviation system. This funding is a vital down payment on updating the system that guides 27,000 flights, 2.7 million passengers and 61,000 tons of cargo every day. The legislation also makes smart, strategic investments in Customs and Border Protection personnel and training for the aviation workforce of tomorrow while supporting American energy dominance in aviation fuel production. We encourage the Senate to move swiftly to pass this bill and send it to the President.” – Airlines for America

Eight Manufacturing CEOs
We couldn’t be happier with the current administrations push for “MADE IN USA”, which is what our country needs to keep our citizens working and our country safe, efficient and at the forefront of the manufacturing trades. This house bill will allow us to plan and invest like never before. Bracalente Manufacturing, and companies like us, need tax incentives and support from our federal government so we can continue to grow and develop in a globally competitive landscape. This bill is a giant step forward for that initiative and the backbone of bringing manufacturing back to the forefront of the US economy, as well as our ability to innovate our production for our warfighters and defense supply chain. – Ron Bracalente, Owner, Bracalente Manufacturing Group – Trumbauersville, PA
If Congress passes this tax bill, we will be able to increase our capital investments, improve our global competitiveness, and create new opportunities to take on new business. Congress cannot pass this bill soon enough. – Ralph Hardt, President, Belleville International – Valencia, PA
This tax legislation provides stability that is essential for businesses like ours to compete globally, add to our US Manufacturing workforce and gives us a chance to plan for the future while making investments today that support our customers in the defense, medical, aerospace and other critical essential industries that help keep the USA a global leader. – Richard Hoster, President, Smith & Richardson – Geneva, IL & Roberts Automatic Products – Chanhassen, MN
Manufacturers like us compete every day in a global market, often against foreign companies backed by government subsidies. The House’s passage of the Ways and Means tax bill is an important step toward leveling the playing field and incentivizing manufacturing in America. The sooner lawmakers act, the sooner manufacturers like us can get to work.” – Bill Jordan, CEO, ATD Precision Manufacturing – Phoenix, AZ
We’re a family-owned business, and when we invest in our people and equipment, we’re also investing in our community. But those investments come at a cost. That’s why we need Congress to act now on this bill. It gives us the tax certainty we need to keep growing and creating jobs here in Northwest Pennsylvania. – Bonnie Kuhn, VP, Kuhn Tool & Die – Meadville, PA & Chair of the National Tooling and Machining Association – Cleveland, OH
If Congress wants us manufacturers to better compete with China, they should pass this tax bill now. The Chinese government provides endless subsidies to their manufacturers and this bill, along with President Trump’s tariff policies, will help us to level that playing field. – Todd Olson, CEO, Twin Cities Die Casting, Minneapolis, MN; Monticello, MN; Watertown, SD
The House of Representatives tax bill is a needed first step to reenergizing American manufacturing and leveling the playing field. If Washington wants manufacturing to grow and create jobs, the House should pass this bill now. – Angela Gibian, Interim President & CEO, Forging Industry Association
This bill provides direct support to family-owned and privately held businesses like those that make up the National Tooling and Machining Association. As pass-through entities, our members pay taxes at the individual rate, which can limit the capital available to reinvest in their operations. By reducing that burden, the bill will help thousands of manufacturers grow their businesses and create more American manufacturing jobs. – Roger Atkins, President, NTMA
Die casting manufacturers are among the most capital and energy intensive businesses in the country. This is why the North American Die Casting Association supports the Ways and Means Committee bill – it will help create jobs and incentivize our manufacturers to spend here in the U.S. The House needs to move quickly to pass this bill and create more growth opportunities for our manufacturers. – Mike Meyer, President, North American Die Casting Association

The 4-year extension will provide our farmers and biofuel producers with much-needed certainty for implementing technologies and practices that are critical for accessing new and growing markets. This would not have been possible without U.S. Representatives Randy Feenstra (IA-04), Michelle Fischbach (MN-07), Adrian Smith (NE-03), and Darin LaHood (IL-16), champions on the Ways and Means Committee who advocated for provisions to support American agriculture and ethanol in this package.” – Joshua Shields, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs, POET

Tax cuts on small businesses and ordinary Americans are now one step closer. Committee Republicans also successfully pushed back on Democrat misinformation that this bill amounts to tax cut for the rich. Provisions such as expanding the small business tax deduction from 20% to 23%, which JCN has been the leading voice for, and boosting the standard deduction will squarely help middle-class entrepreneurs and workers. JCN calls on the Budget Committee to follow suit and quickly pass the bill.” – Alfredo Ortiz, CEO, Job Creators Network

Their restoration will provide immediate and lasting benefits…The bill advanced by the Ways and Means Committee today is a great example of the type of pro-growth policy needed as part of a proactive strategy to build a stronger domestic electronics ecosystem in the United States.” – Dr. John W. Mitchell, President and CEO of IPC

“ICI applauds Chairman Smith and the members of the Ways and Means Committee for their progress in extending vital tax relief for hardworking Americans. We are heartened by the committee’s continued recognition of the importance of private savings and investments in helping Americans reach their financial goals.
The inclusion of the new ‘money accounts for growth and advancement’ would foster a culture of investing among young people. We are grateful to Chairman Smith and Senator Cruz for their leadership on these new accounts. The accounts will help put a generation of young Americans on track to a lifetime of financial security as they see the power of compounding first-hand. We recommend that Congress build on this provision and support allowing a range of investment strategies, to empower the next generation to better understand their investments and take ownership of their financial future.

We strongly support these provisions as the reconciliation bill works its way through the process.” – Mark Allen, President & CEO, International Foodservice Distributors Association

This legislation is a major win for small businesses, American manufacturing, and family-owned companies. It delivers the kind of certainty and incentives our contractors need to invest, grow, and continue leading the way in building America’s future. Among the key provisions NECA supports include: • expanding and making permanent the 199A small business deduction at 23 percent;
• renewing 100% immediate expensing for equipment and technology purchases;
• restoring full R&D expensing to keep innovation in the U.S.;
• preserving the deduction for interest expenses critical to project financing;
• allowing 100% expensing for new and improved factories and production facilities; and,
• making permanent and increasing the doubled Death Tax exemption for over 2 million family-owned businesses.
These policies directly support NECA contractors and the broader construction and electrical industries by encouraging long-term investment, domestic production, and generational business continuity. We thank Chairman Smith and the Committee for their leadership and urge swift passage of this important bill.” – Marco Giamberardino, Senior Vice President Government and Public Affairs, NECA

Main Street Coalition
“The undersigned organizations, representing millions of Main Street businesses operating in every industry and community in America, support the budget reconciliation tax package scheduled for markup this week by the House Ways and Means Committee.
This legislation would provide certainty to the more than 95 percent of all American businesses structured as S corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietorships. These pass-through businesses employ 62 percent of the private sector workforce and form the economic backbone of virtually every community nationwide.
Provisions key to the Main Street community include increasing the Section 199A deduction to 23 percent while making it permanent. This provision recognizes the importance of reducing tax rates for the 26 million businesses that rely on the 199A deduction. Coupled with a permanent 37-percent top rate, the legislation would bring the top rates paid by pass-throughs into closer parity with the 21-percent corporate rate.”
America’s Credit Unions
“I am writing on behalf of America’s Credit Unions to express our support for the efforts in “The One, Big, Beautiful Bill” to protect the families, farmers, and small businesses that credit unions serve every day. America’s Credit Unions is the voice of consumers’ best option for financial services: credit unions. We advocate for policies that allow the industry to effectively meet the needs of their over 142 million members nationwide.
We are also pleased to see the efforts in the bill to promote savings and investing in the next generation by the establishment of the “money account for growth and advancement” or “MAGA account” and the inclusion of credit unions as permissible account holders of these accounts. Credit unions are leaders in helping working American families save for the future and build long-term wealth, so America’s Credit Unions supports this effort.” – Jim Nussle, President & CEO, America’s Credit Unions

Many of the proposed measures will provide critical financial support to dental practices across the country, improving community health efforts and oral health outcomes. Dentists rely on sound tax policy to remain financially competitive, make necessary investments in their practices, and weather economic uncertainty. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (PL: 115-97) provided tax relief and spurred economic growth for millions of American businesses. President, American Dental Association

Texas Farm Bureau
“Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) is writing to express strong support for the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee’s reconciliation legislation introduced by Chairman Jason Smith. We particularly appreciate how this bill supports farmers and ranchers and urge swift passage.” – Russell W. Boening, President, TFB
Coalition for 1099-K Fairness
“The Coalition for 1099-K Fairness strongly supports language in the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill,” that would raise the 1099-K reporting threshold. The commonsense provision would increase the threshold to more than $20,000 in total payments and more than 200 transactions in a calendar year and prevent the upcoming implementation – originally mandated by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) – of a $600 reporting threshold, regardless of the number of transactions, beginning in 2026. This long-overdue fix is a win for the millions of Americans who sell used goods online, run microbusinesses or use digital platforms to earn supplemental income.”
National Association of Home Builders
“This legislation not only provides small businesses with certainty by making the tax code permanent, it also builds on the success of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) by expanding provisions like the 199A deduction, increasing the estate tax exemption, and restoring full expensing. By passing this bill, our members will be able to invest more resources in multifamily rental construction, land development to build more single-family homes, and new equipment to expand their businesses.
Without a program like LIHTC, there’s no financially feasible way to build additional affordable rental housing for lower-income households, which is why these additional resources are urgently needed.”
National Multifamily Housing Council
“We are writing on behalf of the members of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and the National Apartment Association (NAA) to express our strong support for the tax provisions you are proposing for The One, Big, Beautiful Bill. We urge all members of the House Ways and Means Committee to support your Amendment-in-the-Nature-of-a-Substitute so it may be swiftly considered by the full House of Representatives.
At a time when housing providers face increasing pressure to meet booming demand, tax policy should not stand in the way. Indeed, tax policy should lead the way. The tax code should be predictable and support investment in multifamily housing. We believe the tax proposals included in The One, Big, Beautiful Bill reflect these principles, and we are proud to support this essential legislation.” – Sharon Wilson Géno, President National Multifamily Housing Council; Robert Pinnegar, President & CEO, National Apartment Association

“The American Bankers Association (ABA) welcomes and strongly supports many provisions contained in the Budget Reconciliation Legislative Recommendations Related to Tax scheduled for markup in the House Ways and Means Committee. We encourage the House Committee on Ways and Means to promptly advance these legislative provisions.” – Rob Nichols, CEO, ABA
Adoption Tax Credit Working Group
“Today, we write to express our appreciation and support for the Ways and Means Committee’s recognition of the importance of restoring refundability for the Adoption Tax Credit.”
Uber
“On behalf of Uber and the millions of drivers and couriers throughout the United States who use our platform, thank you for your leadership to ensure independent contractors will be eligible for the “No Tax on Tips” federal income tax deduction. This legislation will have a meaningful impact for millions who earn through platforms like Uber. We’re grateful for your efforts and continued support.”
Association of Mature American Citizens
“AMAC Action, the advocacy affiliate of the Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), with over 2 million members nationwide, supports the “One Big Beautiful Bill” as a bold and necessary step toward securing the financial future of both our nation and its seniors. This bill is a win for seniors, for taxpayers, and for the future of our country. We urge swift passage and full support from lawmakers who value liberty, accountability, and the financial security of AMAC members across the country.” – Andrew J. Mangione Jr, Senior Vice President, AMAC
Cisco
“Encouraged by the House #reconciliation package’s corporate tax provisions. By preserving a competitive rate, retaining FDII, & restoring immediate R&D expensing, this bill will strengthen America’s pro-growth tax system—allowing US companies to better innovate & invest at home.”
National Franchisee Association
“The National Franchisee Association, representing Burger King franchisees, supports the provisions included in Chairman Smith’s tax package. By permanently expanding QBI for small businesses, raising the exemption and permanently eliminating the death tax for those below the threshold, allowing for 100% depreciation for first-year capital expenses and fully restoring business interest expensing, this bill creates certainty for small business owners so they can grow their business, create jobs and reinvest in the community.”
Boston Scientific
“Boston Scientific applauds the W&M committee for introducing legislation that extends and reinstates core business tax provisions of the President’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) that will allow us to maintain and grow our investment in medical innovation and patient care. Both patients and communities benefit when U.S.-headquartered global MedTech companies like Boston Scientific are successful creating new and expanded indications for lifesaving and life-changing medical devices, growing a U.S. and global manufacturing footprint and supply chain and expanding the U.S. tax base. We encourage Congress to act quickly to codify these pro-growth, pro-competition, and pro-certainty policies into law.”
The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption
“The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is committed to finding permanent homes for the thousands of children waiting in foster care. We are encouraged by the House Ways and Means Committee’s recognition of the importance of making the Adoption Tax Credit refundable. This step reflects a meaningful commitment to strengthening adoptive families and ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of giving children the stability and support they need. Making the credit refundable would particularly benefit low- to moderate-income families, expanding the opportunity for more children to grow and thrive in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes.”
Foundation for Government Accountability
“During President Trump’s first term the economy was roaring, people were optimistic, and the American Dream was alive and well. After four years of disastrous leadership from the Biden administration, the American people voted like never before to demand a return to the Trump Economy. The House Ways and Means Committee and Chairman Smith’s work this week to extend and expand the Trump Tax Cuts will not only dig our country out of the hole Joe Biden and Democratic leadership dug for us, but it will also spur our nation and our citizens on to new heights of American flourishing.” – Tarren Bragdon, President and CEO of the Foundation for Government Accountability.
Chevron
“Chevron supports the House budget reconciliation bill, which contains important energy and tax provisions. This legislation will enable companies like ours to compete globally and invest domestically in long-term projects that support U.S. energy security.” – Mike Wirth, Chairman & CEO of Chevron Corporation
Steel Manufacturers Association
“The steel tariff and the tax cuts are the most critical contributions that government has made to the domestic steel industry in decades. Congress should renew these investments in American workers. We urge support for the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”
Harley-Davidson, Inc.
“Our company supports thousands of good-paying jobs across the country—not just in our factories, but in our dealer network, supply chain, and beyond. The policies advanced in this bill will help us grow those opportunities and maintain our position as a world-class manufacturer rooted in American values.”
Altria
“Altria applauds the House Ways & Means Committee for delivering a pro-growth tax bill to the House floor. The bill maintains a globally competitive corporate tax rate of 21%, which is the most important ingredient for allowing companies to invest in new jobs, increase employee wages, and grow their businesses right here in America.
The bill also includes good policy, like the closing of the “double drawback loophole for tobacco,” an accidental policy that allows foreign tobacco companies to avoid paying federal excise taxes on cigarettes.
We urge the House to pass the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.””
Agricultural Retailers Association
“Swift passage of this bill will take a critical step toward revitalizing the agricultural economy and supporting rural America during these challenging times. This legislation strengthens the farm safety net, ensures essential investments in conservation, and includes tax provisions that offer much-needed relief to family farms and agribusinesses.”
Concerned Veteran’s for America
“Failing to extend President Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would impose the largest tax hike in U.S. history on American families and businesses. Congress must seize its opportunity to protect our long-term prosperity while improving the lives of middle-class Americans.
The American people sent a clear message last November: they are tired of massive tax hikes, higher prices, reckless government spending, and Biden-era “Green New Deal” giveaways. Congress must answer this call by moving budget reconciliation forward.
As veterans, we fought for a better future for our fellow Americans. We also understand that a strong economy is the bedrock of American strength at home and abroad. Today, CVA calls on Congress to act to protect the promise of long-term economic growth and prosperity for all Americans.” – John Vick, Executive Director of Concerned Veterans for America
American Farm Bureau Federation
“Farm Bureau is grateful for the work of the House Agriculture and Ways and Means Committees to include crucial farm programs and improve and extend necessary business tax provisions in the budget reconciliation process. Modernizing farm safety net programs and providing a fair tax code is critical to the success of America’s farmers and ranchers, especially in today’s strained farm economy. We urge lawmakers to work swiftly to finalize any remaining edits and improvements to allow for the reconciliation package to move forward to ensure farmers can continue growing the food, fuel and fiber America’s families rely on.” – President Zippy Duvall
Job Creators Network
“Republicans need to come together and realize that due to their slim Congressional majority, no legislator is going to get everything they want. They must follow their North Star values of supporting Main Street and workers and not risk letting the perfect become the enemy of the good. By passing this Main Street-out tax cut, Congressional Republicans can generate shared economic prosperity for decades to come.” – Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network
The LIBRE Initiative
“We commend the House Budget Committee for taking a positive step to ensure that we continue extending tax relief to middle-class families and job creators, including Latinos who cannot afford a tax hike.
Now it is critical that the House of Representatives have a full House vote as quickly as possible and approve this pro-growth legislation to help unleash prosperity and opportunity for all.
The LIBRE Initiative looks forward to educating and activating the Latino community on the benefits of this critical legislation.” – Sandra Benitez, Executive Director of The LIBRE Initiative
NC Life Sciences Organizations
“NCLifeSci is pleased that the Ways & Means Committee included provisions allowing for the immediate deduction of research and development costs and an extension of the Clean Fuel Production Credit through 2031. North Carolina is home to a thriving life sciences ecosystem touching on all sectors including pharmaceuticals, devices, agriculture and industrial biosolutions. Many of these companies are small pre-revenue innovators whose main focus is creating new products and treatments, so the majority of their expenses are in R&D. Not being able to deduct these expenses when incurred creates a real hardship and chokes off access to capital so critical for driving innovation. The restoration of the R&D deduction recognizes the importance of innovation and fosters the right business environment for these companies to develop groundbreaking products, create good jobs and ensure that the U.S. continues to lead the world in biotechnology innovation. Note: this is in support of specific provisions within the legislation.”
American Association of Senior Citizens
“It’s not perfect, but given the political realities of no bipartisan support, we urge Republicans to unite and pass ‘The One, Big Beautiful Bill’,”
“It’s a win for seniors across the country,” said Jim Martin, Founder and Chairman of the 60 Plus Association. “The President and House Republicans are providing much needed tax relief to middle and low-income seniors,” continued Martin.
Key Provision affecting America’s seniors include:
— It provides historic tax relief to Social Security recipients. It ensures middle- and low-income seniors can deduct an additional $4,000 in Social Security payments.
— It delivers PERMANENT tax cuts and bigger paychecks. This means an extra $5,000 in Americans’ pockets with a DOUBLE-DIGIT percent DECREASE to their tax bills. Americans earning between $30,000 and $80,000 will pay around 15% less in taxes.
— It includes NO TAX ON TIPS and NO TAX ON OVERTIME. This makes good on two of President Trump’s cornerstone campaign promises and benefits hardworking Americans where they need it the most — their paychecks.
— It protects Medicaid for Americans by removing 1.4 million illegals.
“There is still more work that needs to be done,” said Martin. “We need more conservatives in Congress willing to do the right thing.”
“Unfortunately, our children and grandchildren will inherit the runaway spending and budget deficit,” said Anuzis. “Let’s be practical and take what we can get while fighting to elect more conservatives in Congress.” – Saul Anuzis, President of the American Association of Senior Citizens
Repsol Oil & Gas USA
“Repsol Oil & Gas USA supports the House Budget reconciliation bill in all aspects related to the Oil & Gas sector as it contains relevant energy and tax provisions that will foster domestic investments and energy production, enabling American Oil & Gas companies like ours to compete globally and contributing to US energy security.”
eBay Main Street
“Thank you Chairman @RepJasonSmith for your leadership in restoring the 1099-K threshold to $20K & 200 transactions in the tax package passed by @WaysandMeansGOP! This is a big win for the millions of Americans that sell used goods online and saves them from confusing tax forms.”
Fidelity Investments
“As Congress advances its budget and tax bill, we applaud the inclusion of provisions that would expand access to Health Savings Accounts and help millions of Americans better manage healthcare expenses, and a provision helping private sector employers offer student debt reduction for their employees. Relief is also needed for millions of long-term mutual fund investors who pay a tax penalty annually. Adopting the GROWTH Act now would defer this unfair burden and put money back in the pockets of America’s mutual fund investors right away.” – Fidelity Investments
General Aviation Manufacturers Association
“The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) strongly supports key provisions in the House Ways and Means and Transportation Infrastructure portions of the reconciliation package that will grow and strengthen aviation manufacturing leadership:
- The downpayment of $12.5 billion for modernizing the air traffic control system;
- The renewal of 100% immediate expensing to support aviation investment;
- The renewal of incentives for research and development to facilitate innovation and competitiveness.”
Johnson & Johnson
“Under the leadership of Chairman Jason Smith, the House Ways and Means Committee’s tax provisions build upon the momentum created by the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), which has led to a significant shift and increase in investments by corporations in the United States. Most recently, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to invest more than $55 billion in the U.S. over the next four years, representing a 25% increase in investment compared to the prior four years and building upon the Company’s already elevated U.S. investment levels since the passage of the TCJA in 2017.
We strongly encourage and support congressional efforts to maintain stability in the tax policy to ensure a stronger investment climate in the future. As the passage of TCJA has proven, competitive tax policy spurs job creation and drives greater corporate investment and innovation that benefit patients and consumers.”
Occidental
“We support the House budget reconciliation bill because it will help ensure long-term energy security for the United States. Preserving 45Q, which is in the bill, will enable the development of technology to extend production of U.S. oil and gas reservoirs, help the U.S. avoid peak production in the Permian Basin and other oil fields, and, ultimately, improve the quality of American lives.” – Vicki Hollub, President and CEO, Occidental
Family Research Council
“Good to see many pro-family, pro-life tax measures in the @WaysandMeansGOP bill. The U.S. is below sustainability for population growth; the more we can support babies and families, the better off we will be.”
Gevo, Inc.
“Increasing cost-competitive SAF production provides a domestic energy solution from rural America to meet rising demand for jet fuel. Under Chairman Smith’s leadership, the House Ways and Means Committee advanced a strong tax package today that extends the pro-growth Section 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit through 2031 to support new investment in U.S. SAF production that creates rural jobs and new markets for farmers. Gevo thanks members of the Ways and Means Committee for advocating for agriculture and leading the effort to ensure 45Z is preserved and extended in this package. We look forward to continued collaboration with Congress as this legislation moves forward.”
Jackson Financial Inc.
“We recognize and appreciate the leadership demonstrated by Chairman Jason Smith and the House Ways & Means Committee in advancing tax legislation that promotes economic opportunity and preserves fair tax treatment of the retirement services industry. Jackson shares the Committee’s vision of a more secure financial future for all Americans.” – Laura Prieskorn, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jackson Financial Inc.
Big “I”
“The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (Big “I”) applauds the work done by Chairman Jason Smith, the Ways and Means Committee Members and House Republican Leadership on the final text of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. This critical legislation builds upon the success of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) by supporting Main Street America – the communities, businesses and individuals who make our country great. In particular, the Big “I” commends Chairman Smith for preserving and strengthening the 199A deduction, which so many small businesses have come to rely upon to better serve their communities. The Big “I” urges the House of Representatives to act and pass this legislation.”
The Big “I” is the nation’s oldest and largest trade association of independent insurance agencies and brokerages, representing a nationwide network of approximately a quarter of a million agents, brokers, and employees.
The ERISA Industry Committee
“This bill includes a once-in-a-generation overhaul to modernize and improve Health Savings Accounts and High-Deductible Health Plans. This will make health insurance better, more affordable, and more comprehensive for the more than 60 million Americans in these plans. We hope these critical reforms promptly get to the President’s desk to be signed into law.” – James Gelfand, President and CEO, The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC)
Opportunity Puerto Rico
“Securing and strengthening the U.S. medical supply chain is an urgent priority for the nation, and tax provisions within the One Big Beautiful Bill Act are an important step toward doing so. Opportunity Puerto Rico applauds the bill’s focus on building domestic R&D and manufacturing capacities, including in Puerto Rico.”
Meat Institute
“The Meat Institute applauds the House’s efforts to finalize The One, Big Beautiful Bill because it includes critical tax relief for meat and poultry companies looking to modernize their operations,” said Meat Institute President and CEO Julie Anna Potts. “Our members looking to innovate and grow can take advantage of the bonus depreciation for machinery and equipment purchases and immediately expense investments in important research and development.”
Americans for Tax Reform
“The House’s reconciliation package delivers on President Trump’s campaign promise of across-the-board income tax cuts for ALL income groups. By passing this bill, Republicans are protecting taxpayers from the largest tax increase in American history by extending the 2017 Trump tax cuts while building upon their success with additional pro-growth tax relief. This bill will raise take-home pay for workers, create jobs, boost manufacturing and grow the American economy to outcompete China and Europe.
This bill also unleashes American energy production to lower prices for American households while repealing the disastrous Green New Deal subsides of the Biden administration that drove inflation by forcing taxpayers to fund corporate welfare for Democrat special interests.
This legislation makes historic improvements to buttress our Medicaid system – a program designed to help pregnant women, the disabled, the elderly, and children – by implementing common sense work requirements for able-bodied adults. These improvements prioritize care for the most vulnerable Medicaid recipients, save the program from financial ruin, and are overwhelmingly supported by voters.
Advancing the House reconciliation bill is a crucial step towards delivering the economic agenda conservatives campaigned on and proves to voters that the Republican party is the party of lower taxes, less government and greater economic opportunity. Americans for Tax Reform urges all members of the House to vote in support of this package.“
Associated of Builders and Contractors
On behalf of Associated Builders and Contractors, a national construction industry trade association with 67 chapters representing more than 23,000 members, I write in strong support for H.R. 1, the One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act. ABC urges you to vote “Yes” on this bill and will consider this a KEY VOTE on our Scorecard for the 119th Congress.
This bill includes important tax relief for contractors. The scheduled expiration of many of these policies in 2025 would have grave effects, not only for our contractor members, but for the construction market more broadly. These critical tax policies are vital to the continued success and economic prosperity of our industry.
Among the many essential reforms in the package, ABC particularly supports:
Making the Small Business Deduction Permanent and Stronger: Locking in the 23% deduction under Section 199A will ensure our members—most of whom are pass-through businesses—can reinvest in their companies, expand their workforce, and take on new projects without fear of future tax hikes.
Permanent Estate Tax Relief: Preserving and protecting family businesses from destructive estate taxes keeps jobs, skills, and ownership here at home, allowing contractors to pass on the businesses they built to the next generation.
Full and Immediate Expensing and Enhanced Cost Recovery: These provisions are essential for contractors to invest in the tools, equipment, and technology they need to stay competitive, safe, and productive on American soil.
No Tax on Overtime for American Workers: By exempting overtime pay from federal income tax, the bill delivers direct, meaningful tax relief to the hardworking men and women in the merit shop construction trades—rewarding those who put in the extra hours to get the job done, support their families, and keep America building
Expanded 529 Accounts for Skilled Trades Training: By expanding 529 savings accounts to cover training programs and credentials in the skilled trades, the bill supports the next generation of craft professionals—ensuring more young Americans can pursue rewarding careers in construction without crushing debt.
Relief from Overregulation and Red Tape: From the inclusion of the ABC-supported REINS Act to reducing 1099 reporting burdens to improving Opportunity Zones, this bill cuts unnecessary red tape and unlocks new growth in communities that need it most.
For Main Street businesses like ours, tax certainty and a competitive environment are not abstract policy goals—they are the foundation of our ability to invest, grow, and keep America building. The tax relief and pro-growth provisions included in this bill are critical to ensuring that small and family-owned businesses can compete, hire, and plan for the future with confidence.
ABC appreciates the U.S. House of Representatives for their leadership on this important issue and we look forward to working with Congress to advance policies that strengthen the construction industry, empower the workforce, and grow the American economy.
National Association of Manufacturers
“On behalf of the 13 million people who make things in America, NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons, joined by NAM Board leadership and leaders of the NAM’s Conference of State Manufacturers Associations and Council of Manufacturing Associations, urges you to support the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which includes vital pro-manufacturing tax provisions.
These policies have helped drive innovation, create jobs, and strengthen our nation’s global competitiveness. If they expire, nearly 6 million American jobs could be at risk—jeopardizing the backbone of our economy.
Your leadership and continued commitment to American manufacturing are critical. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to securing a strong future for our nation’s manufacturers.”
