WASHINGTON, DC – Ways and Means Committee Republican Leader Kevin Brady (R-TX) offered the following statement on the successful passage of the implementation bill for USMCA:
“The House’s successful vote in favor of USMCA’s implementing legislation ensures America can continue its strong record of improving lives and providing opportunity and peace, not just for ourselves, but for the world. I am honored to vote today in support of an agreement that embraces and enhances this freedom. I am thankful to Republican leadership and to my colleague, Chairman Neal, for ensuring USMCA made its way through the House. Members should take pride in the work they have put in to make today’s vote a reality, and I urge the Senate to do its part to bring North American trade into the 21st Century.”
