Washington, DC – Ways and Means Ranking Member Dave Camp (R-MI) issued the following statement today in response to the unveiling of the President’s trade agenda:

“I welcome the President’s commitment to implementing trade agreements that protect and create opportunities for working Americans.  Exports have been one of the few bright spots in our economy.  We need to move forward aggressively to open new markets for American made goods and services because jobs generated by trade are higher paying on average.”
