Democrat Tax & Spend “Solution” to Health Care Pushes Marginal Tax Rates to Over 50 Percent

Taxpayers in 39 of 50 states would be subject to a top marginal tax rate of over 50 percent under the job-killing surtax in the House Democrats’ health care bill. The average top marginal rate in the United States would be higher than just three of the 30 most economically-developed countries. But given time, we are sure the majority will find a way to push every state to the top of the list.
