One Year Later, Data Shows Democrats’ 2009 Stimulus Law Failed to Deliver on Job Promises

January 9, 2010 marks the one-year anniversary of the Romer/Bernstein report in which the Administration’s chief economists promised Democrats’ 2009 stimulus law would “create between three and four million jobs by the end of 2010.”  As the Democrat Majority in Congress considers its next stimulus bill, it’s worth reviewing how the 2009 stimulus law failed to deliver on its key promises.
