WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Ways and Means Tax Policy Subcommittee Chairman Peter Roskam (R-IL) announced today that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on how tax reform will help America’s small businesses grow and create new jobs. The hearing will take place on Thursday, July 13, in room 1100 of the Longworth House Office Building at 10:00 AM.
Upon announcing the hearing, Subcommittee Chairman Roskam said:
“Americans continue to witness how our current tax code stifles opportunities for small businesses and their workers in communities across our nation. At our hearing, small business owners will share how tax reform can reverse that trend and make it easier for them to grow, create new jobs, and increase paychecks along Main Street. Their personal experiences and practical advice are essential as the House, Senate, and the White House work together to deliver comprehensive, permanent tax reform this year.”
